Here are some pictures of the school I had my practice in, in Northern-Ireland.
This is inside the classroom of the primary 2 class. They are 5/6 years old.
I found it interesting to see how they filled the walls with so many things. I have the impression that norwegian classrooms are a lot more "white" and "steril".
They had group tables, and the kids had a permanent seat at their table.
The tables had animal-names, and consisted of the Marvellous Monkeys, the Super Snakes, the Great Giraffes and the Terrific Tigers.
Giving the tables animal-names is a nice way to bring some nature into the classroom if you dont have much access to it in other ways.
