Age: 3-5
Groups: 4-6 children per. group.
Materials: a lawn where you can roll around and two jump ropes.
Lay out the two jump ropes with approximately 6 meters between.
Have the children lay on a row next to the first jump rope.
Now you tell the child in the back of the row to gently roll over the other children till it reaches the front of the row.
When the child reaches the front, ask the child to call for the child there are now in the back.
The children keep rolling till they reach the other jump rope.
The car wash.
Age: 3-5
Groups: 4-6 children per group.
Materials: non.
Have the children sit on their knees on two rows facing each other.
Now explain to the children that they are going to gently wash the cars rolling through with a flat hand. Tell them they have to be gentle so they doesn't scratch the cars.
Sit on your knees at the end of one of the rows and ask the child next to you to be the fist car and to start crawling through the rows so it can be washed.
As you are at the end, you can show how to do it and can control who will be the next car.
When the first child reaches the end, tell it to sit at the end of the row and be part of the car wash again.
When all the children have been through, the game is over.
Guess who.
Age: 3-5
Group: 4-6
Materials: a blindfold and a clearing in the forest, a grass field or a lawn.
One child gets to wear the blindfold and the other children moves around and finds a spot to stand still.
When everyone is ready you tell the blindfolded child to go give someone a hug.
If the child wanders away from the group, tell everyone to make a sound.
When the child have found someone it has to guess who it's hugging.
When it's guessed, the blindfolded child gets to give the blindfold to the hugged child and the game continues.
